1898 – The very first issue of The RP appeared on Wednesday 20th April from the headquarters at Temple Chambers, Victoria Embankment
1920 – The RP organised a pigeon show in aid of the London Hospital, as a result there was a reunion of members of the Army Carrier Pigeon Service. Also as a result of that reunion, the show became known as the Old Comrades Show.
1928 – 22nd & 23rd November 1928, the first Old Comrades Show was held at The Drill Hall, Handel Street, London WC1.
1930 – March 30th Lieutenant Colonel Alfred H Osman OBE died, laid to rest at Manor Park Cemetery on April 3rd
1930 – All pigeons of Lt Col A H Osman were sold on the instruction of the executors, on 11th October 1930. The auction was L Gilbert, who became NFC Secretary and Assistant Secretary was F W S Frank Hall of London Auctions fame.
