Les Kidd – Legends of Long Distance Pigeon Racing

LES KIDD

Les Kidd was born in South West London where his interest in racing pigeons started and by the time he was nine years of age he was flying in a local club.
Les has achieved amazing results winning on the North Road from Lerwick and on the South Road from Barcelona, Palamos, San Sebastian, Marseille, Tarbes and Pau.
He has bred his own family of pigeons over the last 40 years breeding only 20 young birds a year.
Twenty years ago Les and Cynthia moved to the south coast and continued to have great success with his very small team of birds. Les has a completely different management system to other long distance fanciers but over the years he has outstanding results from over 500 mile races.
